CREATIVE BLOCK

On Saturday I attended an all day Seminar at Printblocks called Creative Block.

Here we spent the whole day attending classes and making as many make and takes as we could.

At the event we had alot of international companies attend, and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of my all time favourite brand: Graphic 45.

Not only is this a family owned business, but it also started from 'fashion'.

Diane Schultz is an amazing woman who has such grace that you feel in instant attraction to her.

Her daughters are exactly like mum with their quirky, yet stylish attire they certainly bring a new element to everything they present.

I can't wait until next year when they come back and find out what new and exciting collections they will bring out.

DOUBLE LAYOUT CLASS

May is nearly upon us and the newsletter will be out shortly with upcoming dates for card and scrapbooking classes. Here is one of the classes for our Tuesday Scrapbooking.

It's a double layout using another gorgeous KaiserCraft Collection.

A technique I love using in alot of my layouts is making the matching papers look like scrunched ribbon. Of course there is alot of inking as I'm an 'ink-a-holic' lol...

EASTER

I would like to wish all my customers, new and old a very happy easter and please make it a safe one if you are travelling anywhere.

BOOK CLASS

Alot of you who visit my shop would have seen me sitting at my table scrapping away for a class that will be coming along at the end of may.This class is an off the page project that consists of altering a book, adding pages and embellishing it to make it your own.

I made one of these books last month for an amazing friend of mine who I've known for 15 yrs.

If you listen to 4KQ you would have heard him keeping us all updated on the traffic around brisbane...He also makes appearences on 'Today' reading the traffic reports.

I filled this book with photo's that I knew would mean the most to him. Even though he is 'male', and most of us think that making items like these are for women, I have to say that the words of heartfelt appreciation for this gift from me to him meant more to me than any thankyou I've ever received....

So proud of it that he even took it into work to show his fellow colleagues.

GARAGE SALE

We are having a HUGE Garage Sale this coming saturday 9th April.

A lovely card teacher has decided to call it a day and is selling all of her products so she can sit back and happily enjoy her retirement.

Some of the things that are up for grabs are:
