RIBBON LAYOUT CLASS

Here is a sneak peek for Saturday 26th June class.
You will be using 3mtrs of ribbon for this layout and it's 3mm ribbon. If you don't have ribbon, don't worry as there is 3mm in stock now.
This layout will cater for a 6x4 photo or 4, 6x4 photos cropped down.
It's a beautiful page and would be suitable for anything.
Make sure you bring along your papers, chipboard, any embellishments you want to add, ribbon and of course your photo/s.
As always I have inked everything in brown, so if you are partial to inking your papers, then please bring your inks along too.
Please make sure you book as classes do fill up.
See you there....

SURPRISE....

Today I received a letter in the mail informing me that I've been nominated in 2 catagories for
Excellence Business Awards.
The 2 catagories are: Customer Service & Under 10 Employees.
I am so excited that I have wonderful customers who think so highly of me as to send in there nominations for such a wonderful award.
I certainly love my work and I love helping everyone who walks through my doors.
I have yet to have an unsatisfied customer walk away from the shop. And the best thing is.......they always come back...and I love that...

Of course I just had to take a pic of the Nominee sticker that I am so proudly displaying in the front window of Scrapping on the Avenue...

CARD CLASSES

Card classes at Scrapping on the Avenue are becoming very popular and I've just put an extra class on, on Wednesday afternoons.
The cards have been so popular with the ladies that I've had to do repeat classes.
I love using Graphic 45 when making cards as you have both sides to play with.
Border punches make lovely accents to your cards. They don't have to be on the bottom of your cards, but can be placed anywhere you like. I punched not only the red, but the tartan paper as well to give it that flowing effect into the black.
And yes I did ink all the edges with brown.
Silhouettes have also been popular with cards at Scrapping on the Avenue.
It doesn't matter what paper you are using, a silhouette will look at home on any paper.
With the first card, the center diamond along with the center square are both popped up with double sided foam dots.

The bottom card has all of the top diamonds raised with foam dots. This is to give the cards a bit of dimension and to not have it looking so flat.
Happy card making ladies....

KAISERCRAFT FLOWERS

I am a flower addict and I say you can never have enough flowers.
In saying that....I am having a 30% sale on all KaiserCraft flowers.
There are assorted packs of 2cm up to 5cm.

The colours of these paper flowers are so bright and vibrant that they will enhance any page or card.
Make sure you get in early as they are going fast.

Have a great day....

3D FOR MEN

I have alot of ladies come to the shop after 3D's for men.
Well I have just received a lovely package from New Zealand with just that.
Here are just a few of the 3D's that have arrived.

I know that alot of you don't like to 'cut out' as our eyes aren't what they used to be. But in saying that I have chosen some lovely designs that do need to be cut out, BUT, they are straight lines only. You can even use a ruler and pen knife or your paper cutter. No more fiddley little bits to cut around. I once cut out a fisherman that ended up holding a stick instead of his fishing rod. So I am loving these 3D patterns.
