Alot of you who visit my shop would have seen me sitting at my table scrapping away for a class that will be coming along at the end of may.This class is an off the page project that consists of altering a book, adding pages and embellishing it to make it your own.
I made one of these books last month for an amazing friend of mine who I've known for 15 yrs.
If you listen to 4KQ you would have heard him keeping us all updated on the traffic around brisbane...He also makes appearences on 'Today' reading the traffic reports.
I filled this book with photo's that I knew would mean the most to him. Even though he is 'male', and most of us think that making items like these are for women, I have to say that the words of heartfelt appreciation for this gift from me to him meant more to me than any thankyou I've ever received....So proud of it that he even took it into work to show his fellow colleagues.
