MAGAZINE

As most of you know, Samantha Hauzer teaches scrapbooking classes at Scrapping on the Avenue. I wanted to share this photo I took of her at the weekend retreat with her gorgeous layout on the cover of 'Scrapbooking Memories'. Sam has many layouts that appear in Scrapbooking Memories magazines but this is her very first cover....

CONGRATULATIONS.....

RETREAT

Our very first Retreat happened over the weekend and I have to say it was an amazing weekend with some amazing ladies.

A Big THANKYOU to Andrea Quayle who drove up from Bribie Island and delivered some delicious cupcakes and Sam Hauzer from Purple Pumpkin who kindly donated some embellishments for the goodie bags.

Friday night was the only night we had to fend for ourselves and we all settled on dinner at the local hotel around the corner. After a short walk (maybe longer) we enjoyed a wonderful meal then headed off back to the camp to start our weekend of scrapping.

With alot of laughter the night was underway with some crawling into bed at 3am. Our days started off with scrumptious breakfasts starting at 7.30am, then back to the room for some serious scrapping.

Unfortunately the weekend ended all to quickly. After a fantastic roast lunch, it was time to pack the cars up and head back home.

I am very humbled that so many ladies made my very first retreat a great success and I would personally like to thank:

Leanne, Jill, Lauren, Lisa, Emily, Kim, Nicole, Lyn, Lorraine, Jodi, Sue, Karen, Debbie, Sam, Melanie, Leanne, Grace, Jo, Jo, Charmaine, Karin and Eve,

without you all it wouldn't have been as great as it was.

I already have another retreat in the pipeline for the end of November early December so do keep an eye out.

Happy Scrapping Ladies...

CREATIVE BLOCK

On Saturday I attended an all day Seminar at Printblocks called Creative Block.

Here we spent the whole day attending classes and making as many make and takes as we could.

At the event we had alot of international companies attend, and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of my all time favourite brand: Graphic 45.

Not only is this a family owned business, but it also started from 'fashion'.

Diane Schultz is an amazing woman who has such grace that you feel in instant attraction to her.

Her daughters are exactly like mum with their quirky, yet stylish attire they certainly bring a new element to everything they present.

I can't wait until next year when they come back and find out what new and exciting collections they will bring out.
